Pathways Home Health & Hospice is celebrating over 35 years of service in the Greater Bay Area and has an immediate opening. We currently have an excellent opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator supporting the Volunteer, Bereavement, and Home Health Departments.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to the Volunteer, Bereavement, and Home Health Departments. The ideal candidate is responsible for the on-going maintenance of Volunteer, Bereavement, and weekend Home Health electronic and hard copy files and databases. He or she provides phone and documentation support for all three departments. They are responsible for report distribution, maintenance of mailing files and tracking expenses. The Coordinator assists with the ongoing volunteer recognition and retention activities in the departments. This individual also performs other duties as assigned consistent with skills and training for this position in alignment with the goals and mission of Pathways Home Health & Hospice.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•High school graduate or equivalent
•One year of human resources or health care related office experience
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and computerized databases
•Ability to maintain cordial, productive working relationships with other staff while at all times adhering to strict confidentiality of privileged personnel information
•Ability to work well with people and work independently
•Well organized, ability to pay attention to detail, ability to coordinate and schedule a number of simultaneous assignments
•Flexible, willing and able to adjust readily to changes in work priorities
