Growing video content production studio in Woodland Hills is looking for a Marketing Associate to manage and optimize our marketing campaigns. You don’t have to be a pro at paid online advertising, but you’re fully capable and willing to learn.
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
-We create video content (mostly 2D animation and motion graphics) for startups all the way up to Fortune 500 companies like BBB, Uber, Capital One, Guess, Kaiser, Cisco, Dunkin Donuts, NASA, Pfizer, Quickbooks, and more
-Over 4,000 videos made for clients all over the world, in every type of industry imaginable (lots of interesting new apps, products, software, and crowdfunded campaigns on Kickstarter/Indiegogo)
-The service we offer is a hybrid of: “content creation” + “video production” + “marketing”
JOB TASKS CAN INCLUDE:
-Managing & optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
-Managing & optimizing Facebook Ads campaigns
-A/B split testing landing pages (conversion optimization)
-Writing direct response ad copy
-Hiring/managing freelancers
12-MONTH EXPECTED JOB PATH:
-0 to 90 days: Google AdWords & Facebook Ads training, understand all of our paid marketing initiatives (Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, etc.), create and work on list of most urgent optimizations to current campaigns, start A/B split testing landing pages, and improve our overall conversion rates and lower our cost per conversions (leads)
-3 to 6 months: Start testing new marketing campaigns via new channels (LinkedIn ads, email marketing), create unique landing page for specific audience segments, find/hire/manage freelancers to do some of the repetitive optimization work, continue lowering cost per leads and increasing conversion rate and number of inbound leads
-6 mo to 1 yr: Decide if you want focus on being the “paid advertising” specialist of our company or if you want to build and manage a marketing team (do less work inside campaigns and more strategic high-level work)

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Responsible, smart, professional, kind, no attitude, no drama, no issues, responsive, trustworthy
-Must live in LA area
-Tech-savvy and comfortable using cloud software like Google Apps, Dropbox, Slack, etc.
-Must be good with math (paid advertising requires you to track lots of numbers and metrics)
-Very organized and top of things
-Sharp and quick-minded
-High attention to detail
