Structural Engineer (financial district)

compensation: Salary position.

Tuan and Robinson, Structural Engineers currently has an opening for an entry-level engineer position. Anticipated work includes engineering design and preparation of construction drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, RISA, Lpile, Etabs, spreadsheets and manual calculations

Typical projects include low to mid-rise commercial, industrial, mixed use, public safety, education, and historic buildings utilizing wood, masonry, reinforced concrete and steel for building owners and contractors. The firm also provides design for excavation shoring and underpinning projects.

Job Criteria:

Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering with a strong structural engineering background preferred

2 years experience and PE license a plus

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and others

Working knowledge of AISC Design Manual and ACI-318

Structural observation and visits to construction sites including ascending and descending steep un-even ground and/or ladders
