We are seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our newest 93 Unit Family Community located in San Jose, CA. The Maintenance Technician II will report to the Community Manager. This is a non-exempt position with a Monday through Friday work schedule; some flexibility will be required to accommodate the occasional need to work overtime and weekends.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician II is to maintain the physical integrity of the community at all times. This involves insuring a safe and secure living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Technician II will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Community Manager. The Maintenance Technician II will assume all maintenance responsibilities.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
•At least two (2) years of experience in maintenance, preferably with apartment maintenance
•Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
•Valid CA Driver’s license and reliable transportation
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
•Plumbing and electrical repairs
•Light carpentry
•Glass and screen replacements
•Unit turns
•Painting
•Cleaning
•High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred
