MetWest Terra Hospitality is searching for a customer-focused Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team. In partnership with the Regional Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for partnering with two business units (Toll House Hotel in Los Gatos, and Hotel Abri in San Francisco) and their leadership teams to provide consultation and solutions to human resources-related business challenges in the areas of:

• Employee Relations
• HR Administration
• Benefits
• Payroll
• Leaves of Absence
• Workers Compensation
• Recruitment
• Legal Compliance
• Payroll Preparation Assistance

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Four to five years of progressive experience in human resources
• Proven ability to successfully implement HR programs and initiatives
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, relationship building, consulting, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and labor law
• Ability to work with highly confidential information
• Excellent attention to detail
• Hotel and/or Restaurant Human Resources experience required
• Knowledge of ADP HRB and TimeSaver a plus
