45 year-old aerospace company in North Oakland is looking for a full-time, entry-level, day-shift, Mon-Fri 0730-1630, foundry / production worker. Must be motivated and willing to learn specialized fabrication techniques of our unique material.

Qualifications:
• US Citizen
• High School GED or equivalent
• Be able to pass and maintain a DOD or DOE security clearance
• Valid California driver’s license
• Prior military service is a plus, but not required
• Industrial training and experience

Must be able to:
• Follow directions and communicate, written and verbal, in English
• Use an assortment of hand & power tools
• Work around molten metals in a foundry environment
• Bend, stoop, kneel
• Stand for an 8 hour work day
• Lift 60 pounds to chest height

Required duties will involve:
• Working with chemicals & solvents
• Working in a wet environment
• Working in a loud environment
• Use production bandsaws
• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance
• Operating industrial systems such as pneumatic controls, vacuum, pressurized gas and water
systems
• Maintain operating and quality-assurances records such as daily logbooks
