Job Summary:
The Social Media Engagement Specialist will be the face and voice of Fort Brands, a growing western and work wear company, to consumers and brands. The Social Media Engagement Specialist will drive the success of social media postings. This position is responsible for engaging with consumers on social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other similar touch points. The Social Media Engagement Specialist possesses a strong understanding of the social media space, ability to use social monitoring tools, and is on top of the latest trends for all things social. This position will work closely with leadership and external agencies to execute an integrated social media plan to drive consumer engagement. The preferred candidate is a social media community expert having the knowledge and passion for the latest in online media and eagerness to enhance the consumer experience and proactively grow our brands through social engagement. This position will identify and utilize tools and capabilities geared toward process automation wherever possible in order to promote efficiency.
Role Responsibilities:
Help further design, develop, execute, and evaluate the strategy for consumer engagement including a set of best practices, manages rules of engagement, brand & social media playbooks and facilitate and foster an effective and authentic relationship with consumers/fans in all social media channels.
Responsible for writing and responding to consumers via brand social media channels and creating alignment with traditional contact channels within Consumer Relations.
Ongoing analysis of global consumer data to detect communications, promotions and reimbursement trends and report consumer marketing insights to enhance effective business decisions.
Assist with ad-hoc assignments to support the traditional consumer engagement (e.g. calls, emails, letters, text) operational requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (Preferably in in Communications, PR, English, Marketing or another related field)
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional social media and online sales channel experience
Experience engaging with consumers and knowledge of Social Media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google MyBiz and other upcoming channels
Familiarity with social media, viral and word of mouth online marketing practices
Direct experience with online sales channels like but not limited to Amazon, eBay, Facebook, Instagram, Etsy, and Bonanza
Experience managing Google AdWords is a plus
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Ability to expand our social media engagement to enhance consumer experience and protect the company
Excellent project management, problem solving, and analytical skills
Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed, which may include evening and/or weekend hours
Ability to engage with several brands’ social media channels
Risk mitigation experience
Ability to adapt and differentiate between various brand voices/tones/personalities
Independent self-starter
Detail-oriented
A strategic thinker with an innate desire to collaborate and execute
Friendly social media and western lifestyle expert
Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media
Personifying brands through both reactive and proactive engagement
Proficiency managing cross platform digital listening and measurement tools, like but not limited to Sprinklr, Social Studio, Digimind, Zoho Social, Google Analytics and other leading programs
Great team player and communicator
Strong people skills, relatable on-camera personality, and an energetic social media presence on video
Must enjoy working in dynamic and fast paced environment
Strong data management and reporting
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, including an engaging written voice
Naturally quick to respond and immersed in social media
Lifelong learner, adaptable to and embracing of the ever-changing and evolving social media landscape and all its related technological enhancements
Keen on being first to try, explore and learn insights of operating on new, emerging social platforms
