Position Overview:
Ideal for those interested in a future in talent placement, management or development, the casting & ambassador intern will support efforts to launch the WORLDZ ambassador program at the WORLDZ cultural marketing summit. We are looking for someone who is passionate about youth culture, resourceful, organized and forward thinking. You’re interested in brands, leaders and organizations who are paving the way for next generation marketing and/or helping to shape our world for the better, and are excited to jump in and assist on high profile events.
Responsibilities:
Assist our Lead Ambassador Coordinator in recruiting, onboarding and managing 50 ambassadors for the WORLDZ cultural marketing summit
Understand the vision of WORLDZ and have an eye for which applicants best fit the vision of a WORLDZ ambassador
Learn the ambassador program ins & outs
Manage calendar and timelines to help keep and meet deadlines and recruitment goals
Learn the planning meeting and help update on a weekly basis
Learn the overall bigger picture of casting goals
Help solidify outlets for the applications/ invitations
(College Campuses: Emails, Social Media and Visiting Sororities and Fraternities; Backstage Casting)
Requirements
PHD in Google. . . i.e. know your way around the Internet and be able to conduct research efficiently
Flexible, adaptable and quick-thinking
Able to jump in, learn fast and articulate well
Assertive and skilled at interpersonal relations
A solid knowledge and passion for youth culture — music, fashion, and entertainment
Familiarity with Excel is a plus
High attention to detail, organized and ability to switch gears without losing focus
Events experience is a plus (planning, production, etc.)
Your own laptop, preferably Apple Macbook
Can start ASAP
Above all, have a great personality, be ready to learn, and fun to work with!
Be available August 2nd & 3rd
High consideration will be given to applicants taking internship for college credit. Compensation includes monthly stipend and transportation reimbursement, with we get closer to event dates until program end. Program runs through August 9th. After completion, many PTTOW! interns have moved into full-time positions.
