Cinequest seeks a Graphic Designer for the Cinequest Film Festival in-house marketing campaign.
Responsibilities:
• Layout and design of the annual 80-pages festival guide
• Create marketing collateral (e.g. posters, postcards, banners, flyers, brochures)
• Design print ads and advertorials
• Create online festival materials (web banners, ads, social media assets)
• Design venue branding collateral (poster boards, handouts, banners, signage)
• Interactive tablet app design
• Maintain integrated brand look throughout all marketing materials
• Being able to translate marketing ideas into design concepts
• Proof read all marketing pieces to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Coordinate a team of 3-4 interns and support vertical teams with creative content
• Exemplify Cinequest culture: integrity, high energy, world class excellence and love.
Skills and Attributes Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree (or comparable) in Graphic Design
• Great Adobe product knowledge (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Excellent understanding of design theory and current design trends
• Great working knowledge of production for online and offline related marketing materials
• Artistic ability and creativity are essential
• Attention to detail and consistency
• Extremely well organized and able to multi-task
• Ability to set and work within deadlines
• Superb interpersonal skills and ability to work within a highly integrated team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
• Self-motivated, determined, high energy, ambitious, driven to excellence
Time Commitment:
• November 2014 — March 2015
• Part to full-time
