Sporting Goods and Fitness equipment sales position (dublin / pleasanton / livermore)

We are a full line sporting goods and fitness store with 2 positions open: (1) full-time sales associate and (1) part-time sales associate. We are looking for a sports and fitness enthusiast to join our sales staff. We offer a flexible work schedule with weekend work required. This position would be perfect for somebody with a background or interest in general sporting goods and fitness with a sales background. We are looking to add an individual who either has previous experience in the sports and fitness world or has had previous experience working in sporting goods retail store/environment. Full-time hours will entail (4) 9+ hour shifts and part-time hours will entail (2-3) 9+ hour shifts per week from approx 10 am to 7 pm. Employees also have the ability to perform deliveries outside of regular hours to get some extra hours/$$$ if you have your own suv/truck. Previous cash register and customer service experience is preferred.

Preferences:
• Previous sales experience in retail store environment
• Previous experience or interest in sports and/or fitness
• Previous experience in customer service
• Previous experience operating a cash drawer and retail sale
• Prefer individual with a truck/SUV that is willing to perform in-home deliveries
