Our company is called ScholarVets – http://www.scholarvets.com – and we sell a mobile app for college Military and Veteran students & alumni. We sell directly to colleges and higher education institutions across America, usually to the IT and Student Affairs departments, but also to the Alumni association, Financial office because of the GI Bill, and to the Provost / Deans. This year, from March 9th (half day), 10th (full day), and 11th (half day) we will have a corner booth at the CCME (Council of College Military Educators) annual symposium where there will be hundreds of America’s top colleges which support Military and Veteran college education. This is the absolute #1 best place to meet and talk with the top leaders of the best colleges that target Military and Veterans as students.
We want to hire and train an absolutely incredible sales or marketing promotional to assist ScholarVet’s CEO in:
1. approaching people to sell the product to during networking activities
2. giving product demos at the booth
3. answering any and all questions
4. overcoming common objections
5. explaining the contracting process
6. discussing client onboarding steps and other client successes
7. closing as many deals as possible
The audience is Military and Veteran educators and staff administrators, they purchase an annual license to our software. After buying a license, school staff can then do their job better and the software creates an instant community of connections and interactions between a paying school’s MilVet community within a private, trusted, approved online mobile phone network. The content and user profiles are all managed, monitored, and enhanced by the school staff to truly empower their MilVet ecosystem to support itself and be more cohesive for education and employment positive paths. Finally, all of the data recorded during interactions is then accessible and visible to administrators up and down a school’s hierarchy, which need this data to make important decisions impacting a school’s MilVet community, which usually accounts for $20 Million or more per year in GI Bill revenue from the VA. So, Vets are crucial to the colleges at this conference and are the most likely to buy ScholarVets. We should be able to close many deals, depending on we price the “CCME Discount” at – which will be only for schools that can sign a contract within 2 weeks of the conference.

The CEO is not a veteran, however it is owned by 3 veterans and does have angel investment capital from a fund that is extremely Military / Veteran focused.
Money:
$500 for Training – The CEO of the company will personally train you during a 3 week time period before the conference. He will contact you over the phone or use google hangouts or Apple facetime. He might have you take a train down to DC for a day trip to visit in person. You will get paid $500 for at least 15 hours worth of training. You will be reading about ScholarVets, testing the app from different user perspectives, overcoming common objections, making some phone calls to test your abilities, helping review marketing materials to be used at the conference for areas to be improved.
The conference is located at the Downtown Philadelphia Marriot – 1201 Market St.
$800 for Booth Time at Marriot Hotel:
March 9th – You will help the CEO set up the booth on the Exhibition Hall and assist during the evening networking event. You must be at the booth, helping the CEO from – 3:30PM until 8:30PM.
March 10th – You will continue to work the booth with the CEO, for the entire day. 8am until 6pm. There will definitely be times for breaks because there will be times when there are a lot of people at the booth and times when there is no one, when sessions are occurring. You might be asked to go to a networking event this evening but it is not required if you have family obligations.
March 11th – Same plan as March 10th, however the booth will be broken down by 1pm. You will be complete by 1pm of this day.
Lunch will be provided both days by ScholarVets and dinner / drinks on March 10th if desired.

That is $1300 total for this work.
BONUS:
If we are liking the person that we hire to help as a sales rep during the “trial” booth time, then we will ask this person to join the ScholarVets team on a more full-time basis, starting at $2,000 per month in base pay plus generous commissions. This is a full-time position within a growing tech startup focused on Military and Veteran services within the higher education market of the U.S. The GI Bill accounts for $7 Billion in spending each year that the VA gives to about 4000 universities and college. And yet, the graduation rates are around 50%, ScholarVets will change this and there is HUGE opportunity for a dedicated sales rep to make a lot of money while also doing a good thing for Vets / Military / their families / colleges / and America!
