As an Accounts Mgr, you will play an integral role in supporting the growing brand in driving ad sales revenue through established partnerships and developing new clientele on a National Level.
We are looking for talented sales mgrs with existing business to call on with excellent relationship-building skills who will take ownership in helping grow an award-winning luxury brand.
The incumbent must exercise a high level of independence and will be responsible for:
· Communicating with current advertising accounts to enhance customer satisfaction, upgrade accounts and/or sell new categories of advertising to further increase revenue
· Conducting research to generate prospects using resources, such as Chamber of Commerce lists, competitive titles, local visitor’s guides, etc.
· Contacting potential advertisers (advertising agencies and clients) over the telephone, in writing, and via personal sales calls and group presentations
· Creating and managing initiatives that result in revenue growth
· Developing new advertising sales customers to increase revenue
· Maintaining CRM database
· Maintaining open lines of communication with management to accurately forecast business and promptly respond to customer needs
· Meeting or exceeding sales targets
· Preparing media kits, proposals, and contracts
· Resolving customer problems
Thinking creatively and generating original ideas
This position requires a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills who is motivated to achieve goals.
Candidate must also have:
· A demonstrated ability to tactfully and courteously interact with people over the telephone, and in some instances, in person at virtual conferences
· Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks
· Capacity to work under deadline pressure and frequent time constraints
· Competence to work effectively as an individual contributor and team member
· Effective persuasion, networking, and relationship management skills
· Excellent negotiating skills
3-5 yrs magazine sales required
BA degree preferred
