We’re looking for a passionate paid search pro, who has unconventional and smart ideas.
Essential Job Skills and Functions
Build, grow, and optimize online marketing programs (SEM, SEO, Remarketing with email/push/retargeting ads) – (most important and where you will spend most of your time)
Lead key initiatives and new projects, such as landing page testing, ad copy testing, keyword research, etc.
Create, optimize, and execute campaign changes to Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Yahoo/Gemini, and other Search Engine Marketing opportunities
Track campaigns, build reports, present findings, and make recommendations based on KPIs (we’re big on making data-driven decisions, you should be too!)
Write, review, and optimize PPC ad copy
Keyword research and generation
Ensure all online marketing channels are aligned with guidelines while keeping an eye out for potential issues and/or opportunities
Evaluate and recommend new online marketing opportunities and technologies
Experience and Qualifications
We rely on data-driven marketing to inform direction and focus of the business. So while we value creative thinking, it is also important that you know how to use data analysis and metrics to measure performance and establish goals. This is especially important for this position, as analytics will play an essential part in launching and maintaining successful pay-per-click and SEO acquisition strategies. The candidate with the right mix of creative to objective thinking will thrive in this position.
3+ years of actively managing Google Ads Campaigns (this is a must)
Must have strong computer skills – Internet, MS Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
Must have Google Analytics certification
Must have Google AdWords certification
Experience in Tableau or Similar Data Analytics Software
Must be able to optimize landing pages to improve quality score
Strong analytical skills, i.e., the ability to analyze results to determine key findings
Passion and desire to learn about new products, technologies and processes
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
Focused individual with flexibility, dependability and comprehension to grasp and manage the search engine marketing process
Excellent oral and written skills

Control Freak: I need somebody who can devise a plan and execute it.
Quick Thinker & Careful: You must be able to think on your feet and respond quickly to changes in the market environment. You will be managing a very large ad budget and a little mistake can cost the company tens of thousands of dollars, so I’m looking for someone who is able to analyze the situation, consider the available options and repercussions, and make decisions based on a balance of quality of leads & profitability.
Doer: You are going to be assigned projects and work on them independently. Although we enjoy collaborating, we are not a culture of handholding and micromanaging, so if you said you’re going to get something done, no one is going to be checking in to make sure you did it or reminding you about it. You should just get it done. I’m looking for someone who is action-driven, not a procrastinator.
Passion: You absolutely ADORE what you do. This is important… No clockwatchers! Your focus needs to be on getting the job done-not getting the job done before the whistle blows. We are big proponents of work-life balance, and we live by that. However, sometimes I have to sit and finish something after everyone is asleep so that I can push on our goals and deadlines… So you may also have to do the same.

To make sure this is a good fit, we will do a remote trial where you will manage the campaigns & work on organizing them better and making sure that there is no redundancy within adgroups & keywords.
Pay will be starting at $6000 per month for full time work. You can get large bonuses via profit share for increasing the profitability of the company. Based on past profitability you could earn $200,000 per year or more. More details on the bonus structure will be provided in the interview.
We have been in business for over 14 years and with rates increasing the wind is in our sails. Since the first month or so will be remote and as an indepent contractor, you will be required to use time tracking software. Our office is in Paia in Maui, Hawaii. After the trial period, we’d like you to relocate to Maui so we can work together more closely and hey, it’s an amazing place to live!
