DocuSign, Inc. is seeking an Android Engineer for its San Francisco, California office.
Job Description: Design and develop DocuSign Android app. Develop high-quality, ship ready code with unit tests. Work with Project Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for development. Get involved in the application design, not just code to a specification. Work as part of a passionate, agile development team to deliver engaging native user experiences. Collaborate with our platform engineering teams to implement new features and to bring existing platform features into mobile. Work closely with quality engineers to identify test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processes. Write and maintain unit and functional tests for every feature. Work cooperatively with product management and design to create features that satisfy user needs with simplicity, consistency, and robustness. Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team’s productivity and efficiency. Work with development teams from other top tech companies to build features together. Maintain and evolve the software architecture for current and future needs. Stay current with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team. Be an active part of the Android developer community by attending conferences and writing developer blog posts. Support new features alongside each Android release.
Education Requirement: Master’s (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Experience Requirements: Four (4) years of experience in Native Android app development, which includes:
• Java, Android API’s and Object Oriented Programming and Design patterns.
• Native Android app development using Android SDK, Android Studio, Eclipse, DDMS, ADB.
• Android UI, GCM, SQLite Database, Location Services and Map API’s.
• Working with hybrid apps, interacting with WebView using Javascript Interface.
• Software development lifecycle including version control, code release and testing.
• Interacting with SOAP and REST APIs.
• Parsing XML and JSON data.
• Version control such as SVN, GIT.
