This position pays $16.00 per hour + Full Benefits
Service Response Partners, a privately held outsourced Customer Care company, is looking for a Full-time Warehouse Technical Support staff member to join our client’s small warehouse operation.
Our role as a company is to support our clients (OpenTable, Skout, Playboy Enterprises) in providing award winning customer care, technical support, and sales assistance. We currently support OpenTable’s North American, British, German, and Japanese Customer Service, Technical, and Billing operations, Skout’s North American and International service operations, and Playboy’s Online Community Moderation.
This position provides inside support to a warehouse operation to ensure proper procedures are followed and to respond to customer requirements for new equipment, spare parts, support, and service. Repair/upgrade returned computers for re-use. Also perform manual, technical, and record-keeping work involved in the receipt, storage, maintenance, and issuance of supplies, materials, and equipment. Maintain, monitor, and update a computerized inventory control system.
Essential Duties:
Perform the daily activities of a small warehouse including the receipt, storage, issuance, and delivery of various materials, supplies, and equipment.
Work independently in a smaller self-contained storage area. Contact vendors as needed to locate and procure parts, equipment supplies, and services according to established guidelines and specifications.
Estimate stock requirements, control and monitor inventory levels, discuss inventory level modifications with supervisor.
Utilize, operate, and maintain computerized inventory control system.
Inspect goods received, process invoices, and approve payments
Prepare requisitions for special parts, equipment, and materials. Process reorders and research product manuals
Prepare and maintain a variety of records, logs, files, and reports.
Contact various personnel, departments, vendors, outside agencies, organizations and others to coordinate work activities and to provide and receive information and services as required
Perform other related incidental work
Attend a variety of meetings
Re-Image and/or install software on repaired computers
Test all equipment before shipping
Position Responsibilities:
PARTS ORDER PROCESSING: Provide information as required on price and delivery on parts requests via telephone, fax or email, using the appropriate shipping service, tools and internal systems (Salesforce) to ensure that the order is sent in the most efficient and earliest arrival possible. Daily heroics required for those last minute requests!
Process incoming orders reviewing for accuracy and complete specifications.
Enter order into the business system.
Process orders for shipment.
SHIPPING: Prepare materials for packing and crating in accordance with Customer, Company, and Government specifications and requirements — Daily heroics required for those last minute requests!
Typical duties:
Select packaging material, wrapping, and containers.
Verify quantities and descriptions on shipping orders.
Prepare container (envelopes, boxes, crates) which include: Fold and seal flaps; line boxes or crates.
Wrap equipment with paper or padding; assemble side and tops; pack and seal container.
Measure part to be crated.
Assemble component parts into box as required. Use hammer, scissors, tape, stapler. Must operate hand truck to move materials, load/unload trucks.
Stack and organize supply room moving boxes average weight between 3-25 lbs
Weigh and record weight; apply labels; affix postage (FedEx); enter information on shipping, air bill or postal register; bills of lading, shipping orders.
Affix labels and include all necessary documents
Ensure package looks presentable and inviting for our restaurant customers receipt
Type shipping documents: Bill of Lading, Packing Lists, and airfreight Bills.
Enter appropriate information into SalesForce as trained and as documented
Communicate with carriers to assure timely and reliable pickup service of shipment.
Prepare/maintain and distribute, daily, the shipping log to appropriate departments (billing, accounts payable, contracts, purchasing).
RECEIVING: Receive, check and route incoming materials for subsequent use —
Typical duties:
–Receive incoming materials at dock, check for any material damages, correctness of quantity.
–Locate new equipment as received, as required to move material and store for future use.
–Unpack and verify shipment against packing lists and other records (such as purchase order).
–Copy, scan and file all packing slips or other shipping receiving documents
–Keep records of materials received as required and the receiving log for accounts payable and purchasing.
–Move material to designated areas according to item
–Maintain file of open RMA (s) and issue notice to RMA processing upon receipt of unauthorized return materials.
–Use open P.O. file to verify questionable P.O. numbers and/or part numbers.
–Unload materials.
–Process documents such as: Bills of lading. Air Bills, Shipping Orders.
–Use hand tools to open crates or cartons for verification.
–Use hand truck, weight and counting scales in performance of these duties.
–Is responsible for identity and quantity of purchased parts.
INVENTORY COORDINATION: Ensure that inventory transactions are entered efficiently and accurately.
–Ensure the integrity of inventory record keeping.
–Assist and verify the cycle counts process and justify the adjustments for any shortages/overage.
–Is trained in the use of Salesforce and uses prescribed procedures to ensure proper input of information and tracking of all items.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
–Provide information as required on status of a shipment, and prices quoted for some shipments.
–Tagging of all spares orders.
–Keep the Shipping and Receiving area safe and clean.
–Special tasks as assigned.

Requirements
EDUCATION: High School diploma.
Experience: PC repair/Upgrade, Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Control
