About the Job

This is not your ordinary writing job! We are looking for a CPA blogger to write about the CPA exam, test-taking strategies, and general themes about studying for the ever-stressful CPA Exam. You’ll be involved in the launch of our CPA Exam product and work closely with our Content Lead. You’ll help us reach thousands of students who are aspiring CPA’s, and support them through this challenging process.
This is a remote contract position — you can work from anywhere! Even though this position is remote, you must be authorized to work in the US.
Pay is $25/post.

In this position, you will…
•Write original content for the Magoosh CPA Blog (since this is brand new, see the Magoosh Praxis http://magoosh.com/praxis/ Blog for an example of what the blog will look like!)
•Collaborate with our Content Lead to pinpoint effective blog topics
•Provide 2+ posts per week

You. . .
•Are a very strong writer and verbal communicator
•Are passionate about teaching and education
•Possess a deep understanding of the CPA, the skills it assesses, and its structure and content
•Have taken the CPA, and have either shown substantial score improvement over multiple takes or earned a top-percentile score
•Have a BA or BS; graduate degree a plus
•Are detail oriented

Extra credit if you…
•Have written blogs before, hosted your own blog, and promoted your blog posts on social media
•Have experience using and uploading posts to WordPress
